INTERNATIONAL SECTION CURRICULUM

Al Ibda’a International section follows the American stream and applies its curriculum resources. We follow the Common Core standards in English, Math and Social Studies. We follow Next Generation Standards in Science. On the other hand, we follow Ministry of Education standards and objectives in Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, and Arabic Social Studies. We are proud to teach both Arabic language and Quran as strong as what is taught in the National Section. Our students are achieving remarkably in all subjects.

KINDERGARTEN - PRIMARY - INTERMEDIATE - SECONDARY

  • We are also distinguished by allocating sufficient time on a daily basis to follow up the memorization of the Holy Quran in the morning period and encourage students to read and memorize constantly.
  • Competitions for memorizing the Holy Quran.
  • Supporting the Arabic language curriculum by providing students with enrichment materials.
  • Motivating students to participate in competitions that develop the ability to speak Arabic (rhetoric – creative writer – reading challenge).
  • Various enrichment activities, cultural, scientific and linguistic competitions, sports activities, scientific and art exhibitions, cultural trips, useful and organized concerts and festivals.
  • Qualifying grade six students to create graduation projects that integrate between all subjects. In addition to that, students do projects throughout the year.

High School Program (2020- 2021)

In one academic year, we have 3 semesters with 39 weeks.

  • Actual teaching is 33 weeks
  • Exams: 6 weeks
  • For the successful completion of high school program at Al Ibdaa School, students should collect 28 credit hours.

In order to complete the American High School Diploma, our students should complete the following credit hours:
